Fire outbreak at the Total Filling Station beside Sharaton Hotel on Mobolaji Bank Anthony Way, Lagos


Today, a major fire outbreak was averted at the Total Filling Station (Onigbongbo) on Mobolaji Bank Anthony Way in Lagos after a motorcycle exploded in flames by one of the pumps.
Eyewitnesses at the scene confirm that an altercation started today after the staff of the station refused to sell product to cars, they chose to sell to motorcycles and individuals with kegs instead. This lead to a fight, before a motorcycle, for unknown reasons, caught flames.

The flames were quickly extinguished, though the motorcycle was completely burnt. Moments later, officers of the Nigerian Army flooded the scene to disperse the crowd in an attempt to curb the rising tension.
