Yesterday being the 26th of October, 2017 the Educational development CDS in Calabar was captured sensitizing children in WAPI Secondary school about the present epidemic "Monkey Pox". The group was out in numbers creating awareness with regards to Monkey Pox virus on how one can contact this virus, prevention of it, and also what to do if any one is noticed with some symptoms of this epidemic called Monkey Pox which have no cure or vaccination yet. The group was led by the President Comr. Emmanuel with his executives and all members belonging to the group. The demand for the release of Comrade Belo Bature who has been in detention since August for criticizing Governor Aminu Masari of Katsina State is becoming very loud. Bature a former Student Union leader has allegedly criticized the governor for seeking foreign loan while nothing was done with the billions of Naira Paris fund and other bailouts that his government has received from the federal government. For doing this, the governor allegedly ordered for his arrest for hate speech and since then he has been languishing in detention.  Marine Police of the Lagos State Police Command in a joint effort with Rapid Response Squad this morning rescued 19 passengers of a capsized boat under the Third Mainland Bridge. The Boat, which was conveying 21 passengers capsized at about 10:00 a.m. this morning. An eyewitness called the OC Marine Police who immediately deployed 7 boats to the scene. RRS Helicopters got the coordinates and mobilized to the scene, leading to the quick rescue of 19 passengers and recovery of the corpse of a woman passenger whose husband fortunately was rescued in the incident.
